An error has occurred.

I am guessing that since I have the updated software that is the reason for the error. When I open launchpad it looks as if the game hadn’t dowloaded. But why I open the app store I can open the game. But before I can open the game all the way I have to choose a resolution for it. In bright red it says “An error has occurred.” next to the open button. Not sure why.
